The Black Fire
Burn the darkness;
Consume the light;
The fire burns black,
But it burns bright;
Warming my heart,
Yet burning so cold;
Alone in the shadows
With feelings untold;
In the dark inferno,
My heart is ablaze;
A warrior's fury
Blinding my gaze;
Reach for me now;
My soul will not stray;
And yet, you must know
My heart cannot stay.
